Friction is your enemy when building and flying your RC model.
RaceX Oil is designed to defeat this enemy and work with all KO motors (in particular the Method range). Each Method motor has a built in chamber "wet sump " precisely engineered to hold small amounts of RaceX Oil. This is fed to the open case bearings via the patented KO orga main shaft.
While KO uses the very best Ezo bearings available there is still room for improvement and efficiency , this is achieved by adding a thin layer of KO RaceX Oil delivered by the orga pump. The gives the bearing a far higher degree of tolerance, for a smooth highly balanced motor.
However the other benefit comes from the cooling effect offered by this constant transfer of oil. This drags away built up heat from both the bearings and stator, then delivering this hot oil to the base plate that acts as a giant heat sink. This works much in the same way your car uses oil and a radiator to remove unwanted heat from internal rotating parts.

Once the oil has been cooled in the base plate (thanks to the oncoming air flow passing the outer face) the orga pump then delivers the Race Oil X back up and into the open case bearing. This repeats the process, keeping heat and friction to an absolute minimum and allowing the Method range of motors to be designed with the highest power windings and magnet combinations of any motor available.
An added benefit is this is without the worst of heat soak and failure due to over heating. If you demand the very best and value performance based engineering excellence then Race Oil X is the very foundation of both.
With a minimum working temperature of -30°c Race Oil X is completely compatible with Cryo spray, as well as having a maximum operating temp of +230°c (to be sure your Method motor operates and performs like no other under high temperature operating conditions).

Race Oil X is 100% synthetic and available in 3 different grades ( viscosity ) with PV L ( yellow) at 3.8 , PV M ( Blue) at 5.6 and PV H (Red) at 10.7.
The three grades of KO Race Oil X has been formulated precisely for your particular application, from super high RPM race KV options all the way down to more conservative long range, or photography platform high efficiency lower KV motors.
